The Helianthus Project has launched our advocacy program- Helios Recovery, which aims to provide comprehensive support to victims of human trafficking and their families.
Our vision is a world free from human trafficking, where every individual lives with dignity, freedom, and security. We strive to empower survivors, educate communities, and eradicate the root causes of trafficking through relentless advocacy, collaboration, and innovation.

Certified Victims Advocate: Our dedicated, certified advocates will work closely with victims and their families, providing emotional support, guidance, and resources.
Financial Assistance: We understand the financial strain that victims often face. Our program will offer financial support to cover essential needs such as housing, food, and other necessities.
Transportation Assistance: Access to safe transportation is crucial for victims attending counseling sessions, medical appointments, or court hearings. We aim provide transportation assistance to ensure they can access these services.
Coordinated Counseling Efforts: We collaborate with experienced counselors to offer necessary counseling services tailored to each victim’s unique needs.
Clothing and Essentials: Victims often arrive with little to no personal belongings. Our program provides clothing and essential items to help them rebuild their lives.
Medical Appointments: Regular medical check-ups are essential for physical and mental wellbeing. We assist victims in scheduling and attending doctor’s appointments.
Copays and Insurance Assistance: We cover copays and assist with insurance-related matters to remove any barriers to healthcare access.
Support for New Mothers: If a victim becomes pregnant during their advocacy care period, we provide additional support, including prenatal care and resources for parenting.
