Areas of Support

  • Certified Victim's Advocate

Advocates ensure that each individual feels heard, informed, and empowered—helping them navigate legal, medical, and emotional challenges while connecting them to essential resources. Their presence reinforces our commitment to restoring dignity, safety, and hope for every survivor we serve.

  • Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is a crucial part of the Helios Recovery program, offering stability and relief during a vulnerable time. Many victims face significant financial hardships as a result of exploitation or trauma, which can create barriers to safety and recovery. By easing these burdens, our program empowers survivors to focus on healing, rebuilding, and regaining independence.

  • Transportation Assistance

Transportation assistance is an essential part of the Helios Recovery program, ensuring survivors can safely and reliably access the services and support they need. Many victims face challenges with mobility or lack access to secure transportation, which can hinder their ability to attend appointments, reach safe housing, or participate in recovery activities. By removing these barriers, we help survivors regain independence and stability on their path to healing.

  • Coordinated Counseling Efforts

Coordinated counseling efforts are a cornerstone of the Helios Recovery program, providing survivors with compassionate, trauma-informed care tailored to their individual needs. Through collaboration with trusted mental health professionals and community partners, we ensure each participant receives consistent, comprehensive support. These coordinated services help survivors process trauma, build resilience, and develop the tools needed for long-term emotional and psychological healing.

  • Clothing & Essentials

Providing clothing and essentials through the Helios Recovery program helps restore dignity, comfort, and a sense of normalcy for survivors rebuilding their lives. Many arrive with little to nothing, and access to clean clothing, hygiene items, and basic necessities can make a profound difference in their recovery journey. By meeting these immediate needs, we help survivors focus on healing and regaining stability with confidence and self-worth.

  • Medical Appointments

Access to medical appointments is a vital part of the Helios Recovery program, ensuring survivors receive the healthcare necessary for both immediate and long-term healing. Many victims have gone without consistent medical care, leaving untreated injuries, chronic conditions, or unmet health needs. By coordinating and supporting access to trusted providers, we help survivors establish ongoing care and regain control over their physical well-being

  • Copays & Insurance

Assistance with copays and insurance is an important component of the Helios Recovery program, helping remove financial barriers that often prevent survivors from accessing necessary medical and mental health care. Many victims lack insurance coverage or face unexpected out-of-pocket costs that can delay treatment. By covering or supplementing these expenses, we ensure survivors receive consistent, uninterrupted care as they work toward healing and stability.

  • New Mother Support

New Mother Support within the Helios Recovery program provides compassionate pre- and postnatal care for survivors navigating motherhood after trauma. We recognize the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that can arise during pregnancy and after birth. Our program offers guidance, resources, and essential items—such as formula, diapers, and clothing—to ensure the health and security of both mother and baby. By easing these burdens, we help mothers focus on healing, recovery, and building a safe, nurturing environment for themselves and their children.
